NEW Refined Synthesizer

The Refined Synthesizer upgrade has made its debut! This is to accommodate for the instability present in more advanced Triple combinations (and can even manage unstable Quad-Element configuration!). This process is only possible by using an already-coalesced form to build upon…not to mention the Meebs and Shards! Ethereal Workshop Wave 2!

NEW Monster: Flasque

This Monster (which looks much like a science experiment!) consists of little more than beakers and chalices, but don’t let that fool you! The Flasque is loud and proud, clinking and clanking its instruments together to add a robust sound to the Island’s song. The green lifeblood seen throughout its body ensures that no matter how hard this methodical Monster clangs its glass vessels, they will never break!

NEW Monster: Nitebear

It is not fully understood exactly what powers the Nitebear, but some have guessed that it may be run by quirky animatronics (based on the cables sticking out of its head). This disconsolate-looking Monster expresses itself using a combination of groans and moans, leading some to believe this Monster is exhibiting sentiments of sadness. Because it demonstrates a melancholic disposition, this Monster is nervous about socializing, fearing it may be “killing the mood.” Its friends are always happy to have it around though, and love it when Nitebear comes out of its self-inflicted isolation and join in on the song!

NEW Monster: Whaill

You’re bound to have a Whaill-ing good time with this new Ethereal Workshop Monster! Blessed with the ululations that gargle from its many mouths, the Whaill can create sound waves that are so intense that they actually tear apart the fabric of space and time! Legends say they can even expose reality to the Rift, closing the gap between worlds…

NEW Monster: Epic Bellowfish

Although its crystal is cracked like its Rare cousin, Epic Bellowfish couldn’t be more different! Outfitted with a suit made of rubber and extending past its torso to include its arms and legs as well, this Epic Ethereal is ready to defend against foreign contaminants and be shielded at all times! Although it’s a well-known secret that this Epic Monster may have a sensitivity to acquaslime, its Monster friends keep it to themselves to safeguard its dignity. Their motto? S’all good, Mon.

NEW Monster: Rare Monculus

The Rare Monculus has an interesting history, dating back to the era when the Colossals were using the pocket dimension as the site for their world-building experiments. In what can now be considered a humorous oversight, the Bubblerite jars and vases they used to store Monculus’ building blocks were equally susceptible to the spark of life – and became a Monster of their very own!

NEW Monster: Rare Scargo

Rare Scargo is known to many in the Monster World as an expert gift-giver, so it makes sense that it would be discovered during this time of year. It’s always creating imaginative toys and trinkets for its fellow Wublins, catering to each of their individual likes and needs. It has even attempted to create a giant musical contraption, known as the “electro-Mon-cardio-snooks,” which must be operated by several Monsters at once. The only problem is the excessive noise, as this goofy gadget can’t possibly compete with the decibels attainable by only the Rare Scargo…

What’s New in Version 4.1.1

NEW Fire Expansion

For the first time ever, Monsters that were previously exclusive to Amber Island have made their way to the Fire and Magical Islands! These Monsters are exclusively available in the Market for Relics, with their accompanying Rares appearing as StarShop exclusives. Pro tip: If you’ve been keeping up with Amber Island, that Relic generation investment is paying off! The Monster-Handlers are really fired-up for these new discoveries, but urge you to act quickly: these Fire Monsters will only be available for the duration of Feast-Ember. Get that fire started quickly!

NEW Monster: Rare Spurrit

We already knew that drinking water from the Living Ocean may cause some…undesirable effects…The Monster-Handlers have furthered their research into this strange anomaly only to discover that drinking Living Ocean water can also duplicate Spurrits! Well, sort of. Rare Spurrit seems to have emerged from this “cloning” conundrum, but is much more impulsive and distracted than its Common cousin. Fret not, this inquisitive Monster still has a passion for exploration and discovery, just with a bit more unbridled enthusiasm.

NEW Monster: Rare Candelavra

It had long been rumored that a faction of Candelavras (also known as a “mint”) ventured to explore the depths of the underground tunnels during the Dawn of Fire era to shield themselves from the upheaval of the world around them, one day hoping to return to the surface they once called home. These rumors turned out to be true, however these ambitious Monsters were sadly unsuccessful in their venture. Over the course of their journey, these spelunking Candelavras began to exhibit some traits that would suit their new underground life and transformed into the Rare version we have recently discovered!

NEW Monster: Rare Bona-Petite

We all know how important our personal time and space away from our families can truly be. This may not be possible for the Rare Bona-Petite though – this Monster duo is the very definition of “tight-knit!” This fluorescent Rare team may get on each other’s nerves once in a while, but they always know better than to take one another for granted.

Gobbleygourd on the Fire Islands

The much-loved Feast-Ember Seasonal Monster, Gobbleygourd, has returned again for a gobblin’ good time time on Fire Haven and Fire Oasis! Prepared for a bountiful harvest and an abundant feast, none of the Monsters will be going hungry during this Feast-Ember Season! Don’t worry though, all of the Monsters in the Monster World are vegan, so no one will be trying to take a bite out of this bird!

With another Seasonal Event comes our final Seasonal Island Skin! It’s no secret Rare Rooba is ‘Picsie (a big fan of DJ Epic), so it’s no wonder this Rare Magical Monster is constantly hanging out near the edges of Psychic Island where the eyeball critters of Cruv’laapht allow transmissions of DJ Epic’s set to be heard loud and clear! Adorned with homemade tie-dye attire and rockin’ out to DJ Epic’s greatest hits, this Monster is absolutely loving living in the wide-open starscape of Psychic Island!

Contrary to the appearance and display of Plixie’s brain, Adult Plixie is much more focused on physical gains than mental ones. It’s definitely not a Monster to miss out on arm day at the gym, attempting to bulk up its physique with massive muscles. NEW Monster: Rare Gheegur

There’s really no better time than Spooktacle for us to discover the mad-scientist-inspired Rare Gheegur! This Rare Wublin sure looks like it has a real knack for bringing kooky creations to life! You may have noticed this Rare version is lacking its Common cousin’s trademark glow! Legend says that’s so it can lurk around in the dark more easily, making some of its fellow Wublins apprehensive of it. But fret not! There’s nothing spooky about Rare Gheegur – in fact, it is a very funny and courteous fellow!

NEW Monster: Epic Thrumble

From deep within the waters of the Monstriana Trench, we have uncovered none other than Epic Thrumble! Although this subspecies has a much younger lineage than other Epic Monsters, Epic Thrumbles are still a fantastical faction! Rumor has it that their genetics may have been spliced with Glubber DNA, but it seems to have more in common with Anemonons or Jlelljiggles! Buy or breed it for a limited time on Bone Island… Thankfully, the October monthly Amber Set contains Thrumble’s Vessel, so you can begin attempting to evolve it on Amber Island, too!

NEW Island: Ethereal Workshop

We weren’t kidding when we said “It’s all in your head!” Welcome to the Ethereal Workshop, located inside Ethereal Island Colossal’s cranium! Zarroë has achieved what was previously thought to be impossible by bringing to life Triple-Element Ethereals (and beyond!) using the power of “Meebs” and curious new Structures we’ve never encountered before! Head to the Ethereal Workshop and help the Colossal reach its goal of creating a symphony of beautiful and mind-bending music!

NEW Monsters: Triple-Element Ethereals

It’s been a long time since Single and Double-Element Ethereals were discovered, and after such a long wait, we are very excited to introduce the first-ever Triple-Element Ethereals! You’ve already met Meebkin, our googly-eyed friend with a greater-than-average affinity for the Meeb critters you’ll get to know on Ethereal Workshop. This courteous caretaker houses Meebs inside of its baton-like instrument and rhythmically twirls it to help the Critters make their enchanting sounds. But Meebkin isn’t the only new Monster brought to fruition on Ethereal Workshop! Visit the new Island and discover four more Ethereal acquaintances!

Double-Element Ethereals on the Colossingum

Double-Element Ethereals have finally arrived on the Colossingum with a series of brand new quests, costumes, and trophies to be won! These new permanent quests and affluent attire will be arriving on a bi-weekly basis, starting on October 19th! We are also excited to announce that the Colossingum Level Cap will also be increased in the coming weeks so you’ll have even more reason to climb back to the top!

NEW Features: Early Ascension and Wildcards

Now that you have experienced two rounds of Celestial Ascension, we are excited to introduce an all-new feature called Early Ascension! This new process will allow you to attempt to Ascend a Celestial with an incomplete inventory! But beware…there is some risk involved. Unsuccessful attempts will result in some of the eggs being lost, however you will receive a “Wildcard” in return which can be applied to any inventory! So, whether you’re zapping an egg or powering up a Wubbox, Wildcards will be a valuable resource to have in your pocket.

At long last, Gold Island is thrilled to welcome Epic Wubbox! But this Epic Wubbox is truly different from anything you’ve ever seen before. Once it harnesses each of the Natural Elements, this Epic Supernatural Monster will evolve and engage with this Island Song in ways you never even imagined! Each powered-up phase of the Gold Island Epic Wubbox will result in both cosmetic and musical changes that will leave you dazzled – and what more could you really ask for in such an extraordinary entity?

Jam Boree on Gold Island

After two years of excitement and speculation, Jam Boree is finally arriving on Gold Island! The 11 Year Anniversary is slated to be the most exciting Anniversary Celebration Jam Boree has ever seen! What better way to conclude Anniversary Year than to have one final Seasonal Monster find its very own ‘home away from home’ to celebrate all year round.

NEW Monster: Epic Jam Boree

It’s safe to say that Epic Jam Boree is a big fan of a gouda time. You’d have to see it to brie-lieve it, but this Epic Monster is doused in a thick layer of mac n cheese over what resembles a goblin-green body. Epic Jam Boree is a very generous gift-giver because it believes it’s cheddar to give gifts rather than receive them. It may sound cheesy, but Epic Jam Boree swisses you the best Anniversary Month ever!

NEW Mythical: Buzzinga

Designed in partnership with the My Singing Monster Community, we are proud to present the long-awaited Fire Haven Mythical – Buzzinga! This insectoid Monster is notable in that it can flitter and fly between the various dimensions of the Big Blue Bubble Multiverse! Although this concept has long been in contention, it was recently proven when the Buzzinga was observed pollinating the flowers of the Stablo Mjehurica World Tree! This member of the new ‘Drone-Sect’ family swiftly collects the tree’s nectar which allows it to form entire new realities. A truly Mythical creature we’re glad is here to stay!

NEW Dreamythical: Knurv

With every Mythical Monster comes its Dreamythical counterpart, and Knurv is no exception! Known by a different name in its native dimension, folk tales seem to indicate that this “bogeyMon” is an enthusiastic musical performer that uses its optic nerves to captivate audiences with upbeat melodies that coincide remarkably with its Mythical partner.

NEW Decorations

Once again we are elated to introduce a brand new Anniversary Monument outlining all of the exciting happenings during what could only be described as the biggest Anniversary Celebration the Monster World has ever seen – Anniversary Year! Highlighting notable events such as the introduction of our Ultimate Creator Experience Mythicals, Colossal Conundra, Celestial Ascension, and everything in between, you’ll definitely want to add the 11 Year Anniversary Monument to your decorative collection for all the Monster World to see!

We are also adding another exciting decorative ornament to honor the Spirit of Creation! Inspired by the creativity of the Colossals, this ornamental adornment is based on some of the earliest pieces of concept art of My Singing Monsters. My Singing Monsters launches its Anniversary Month celebrations this year at PAX WEST 2023 in Seattle, WA from September 1 – 4. The Monsters-Handlers will be hosting an energetic, interactive booth, featuring first looks and musical mayhem.

As Year of the Monster comes to a close, My Singing Monsters prepares to kick off its 11th year this September with a bang. In a month full of special offers, new monsters, big additions to the game, and sneak peaks at the future of My Singing Monsters, this is sure to be our biggest Anniversary yet! And for the first time we’re celebrating in person with our players at PAX WEST!

What’s New

Boo’qwurm on Psychic Island

Boo’qwurm hardly noticed how much time has passed since its debut on Seasonal Shanty since its head has been stuck in a book for almost a whole year! Now that MindBoggle has kicked off, this puzzle-loving brainiac has made its way to Psychic Island to share its love for reading and brain teasers! Although excited to join in on the festivities, you may notice Boo’qwurm missing out on a party here or there – that’s because it needs to finish just one…more…chapter!

Dipsters on Psychic Island

It appears as though the rumors have been true all along! Cruv’laapht, the Psychic Island Titan, is proud to welcome the Dipster family to its home!

NEW Monster: Rare Bisonorus

The colorful new Rare Fire Monster is ridiculously strong and has been described as “virtually indestructible.” That may be attributed to its substantially larger and larger-than-life antlers of the Emperor residing on its head. These adjustments from its Common counterpart can be attributed to evolution throughout several generations to create a strong, almost-perfect specimen. The best part about this generational progression? The bond the Rare Fire Monster has solidified with its dome-dwelling companion, truly encompassing the idea of family.

NEW Monster: Rare Creepuscule

This newly discovered Rare Wublin has certainly upped its wig game! Donning an intricate red yarn hairpiece, this Monster is excited to show off such a beautiful contrast to its green complexion. Some have said that from afar, this Rare Wublin resembles some sort of tropical fruit – that is, until you see its teeth. You may quickly change your mind once you lay your eyes upon those rows of chompers…

NEW: MindBoggle Island Skin Available

You’ll want to pick up a book and learn something new when you get your first glimpse of the all-new MindBoggle Psychic Island Skin! Cruv’laapht, really put its mind to work when it manifested bookcases upon bookcases (upon bookcases!) to share its love for reading and researching with its beloved Monster inhabitants. You can purchase this Skin throughout the entirety of the MindBoggle Event and share your love of reading all year long!

The many eyes of Cruv’laapht have taken it upon themselves to catch up on some summer reading! The oversight? Its eyes are farsighted! Celestial Ascension

We’ve been listening to the stars for quite some time now, and this year we learned that the stars have their own stories to tell…
Introducing the astounding phenomenon of Celestial ASCENSION!

Each month, one of the 12 CELESTIALS will unlock the ability to Ascend from its young form into an adult! You’ll need to Zap the proper combination of eggs into its inventory, including hard-to-get Monsters like Seasonals and Rares… and you’ll only have the duration of the month to do so.

Thankfully, you’ll be able to use the new FLEX egg system to choose from an assortment of eligible Monsters to Zap. Then, when the inventory is complete, harness the power of KEYS to complete the Ascension! Because of their special connection to the genesis of the Monster World, Ascended Celestials can now generate Keys themselves!

Let’s kick it off with the first Celestial we met all those years ago… SCARATAR!
